Attorney Pamela Haun focuses her practice on estate planning, probate, business law, guardianships and family law. She routinely advises the firm’s clients on various business related matters including the formation of new companies, the transfer of business ownership and various employment and tax questions that arise in the business arena.

Pam has litigation experience representing fiduciaries in probate and trust litigation before the Arkansas state courts. In the family law arena, she has represented many individuals in the litigation, mediation and settlement of their divorce or dispute over custody or child support. She is also experienced in representing individuals and business entities as they become and serve as guardians of incapacitated individuals.

A licensed CPA, Pam has a thorough understanding of taxes and personal accounting, so she is highly qualified to prepare estate plan documents for individuals facing complex family situations and estate tax implications upon death as well as represent executors and trustees in probate and trust administration matters, including contested litigation.

As a certified mediator, Pam acts as a trained neutral third party and facilitator to assist parties in a less formal dispute resolution process. The mediation process allows parties to actively engage in discussion and collaboration to reach a mutually acceptable resolution. Pam is certified to mediate civil, probate and family law cases.

Education

Pam earned her bachelor’s in accounting from Arkansas State University, where she graduated summa cum laude with university honors.  She obtained her CPA license in Arkansas in 1997.  She then returned to school and obtained her J.D. from the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, where she graduated first in her class and magna cum laude.  While in law school, Pam was a member of the Moot Court Board and a staff member of the University of Memphis Law Review.
