A native of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Sam Waddell joined the firm in September 2014 after receiving his J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law.
Education
After graduating from Jonesboro High School, Sam completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Sam earned a degree in Financial Management/Investment from the Sam M. Walton College of Business Honors Program, graduating in the top ten percent of his class. As an undergraduate, Sam was a selected member of the Arvest Fixed Income Fund management team.
After earning his undergraduate degree, Sam attended the University of Arkansas School of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Arkansas Law Review and graduated in the top ten percent of his class. At graduation, Sam received the Outstanding Contribution to Law School Publications Award and the American Law Institute Continuing Legal Education Scholarship & Leadership Award.
